Davis Center is a community collective for the culture, where people can feel welcomed, feel safe, feel valued, and feel heard.
Community Collective
The Davis Center exists to bring us back to more organic ways for people to connect--through direct engagement and conversation. Our community members are encouraged to cozy up in our “living room”, enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea in our cafe, and get creative with their imaginations in our flex spaces.
Flex Space
Our flex space will be available for local business owners and artists to showcase their work or products. We plan to host periodic open markets on location with a local business showcase each month. Through the entrepreneurial hub we help small businesses grow and thrive by connecting business owners with the community and providing “wrap-around” services and resources.
Technology Center
Through our technology center, fully equipped with computers, Wi-Fi, print, and scan capabilities, we hope to provide our community with the tools they need to be successful in their endeavor, whatever it may be.
Youth Prep Hall
We recognize that right now what our children need most is to feel valued and feel safe. Individual realities can be harsh but for young adults in underserved communities the footing is even more imbalanced. The Davis Center will serve as the safe space for young adults to be their most authentic selves.
Youth Enrichment
Many of us struggle with harsh realities daily. We, at the Davis Center, recognize and understand that reading provides a virtual escape with a journey through fantasy, science fiction, history, or many other literary genres. The Davis Center community library will serve as an open-source to fuel the minds and stretch the imaginations of all users.
