Access to technology such as the internet and devices is a human necessity but many in our communities suffer further because of the deficiencies. We can no longer accept our youth starting the race in last place due to lack of access
Beyond the Bell
We will offer teen programming focused on sparking dialogue about global issues impacting their demographic and helping them constructively change the narrative. It is because we understand that education should happen Beyond the Bell of schools that this program has been created.
Literacy is Lit
As a community collective, we will stock the library with books donated by our neighbors and have a “take one leave one” approach to keeping our library stocked with the latest great reads. Literacy is Lit programming will include local authors and illustrators features as well as monthly book club meetings to foster a culture of literacy.
